hi guys i have a 5 gal tank and have 18 fish in it the pet shop told me it was fine and they all get along great some of my fish even include bala shark and 3 clown loaches they have all stayed very small no longer than 10 cm my smallest fish are the neon tetra's and rummy nose but i do feel i should get a better tank can anyone suggest a good size
BTW im not really from that state wat eva it is

I have a 5 gallon tank with 5 platies and 1 male guppy. For the cleaner fish I have one snail and 1 otocinclus. My tank stays very clean and I only have to change the filter once a month along with cleaning the tank. The type of tank I have is a hex-5 tank.

I know a setup! I've got it and it works well. 1 Zebra Danio, 2 Leopard Danios,1 Pearl Danio, 1 Dwarf Gourami and 1 Balloon Molly.

5 gal makes a perfect little planted shrimp tank. Or a couple of the tiny fish planted tank lovers favor - scarlet badis, emerald dwarf rasboras, etc.

Calling a 5 gallon a community tank is definitely a stretch. They are great for a small feature tank for something like shrimp, a crayfish or crab, something along those lines, but just don't have enough space for too many fish.
