Wrasses, marine fish belonging to the family Labridae, are considered “reef safe” and inhabit coral reef environments around the world. Some species are cleaner fish that will pick parasites off other fish, even cleaning the mouths of other fish, acting as a kind of dental hygienist to the piscine world.
