Eels are popular among marine aquarists. The snowflake moray is commonly kept in tropical saltwater aquariums and averages 2½ feet in length. Moray eels are hardy and adjust well to life in captivity. They are undemanding as long as they have sufficient room, a place to hide and plenty of food.
