Angelfish
 |
Marine angelfish, of the family Pomacanthidae, are found on shallow reefs in the tropical Atlantic, Indian and western Pacific oceans. They generally achieve a length of 8 to 12 inches, and the smaller species are popular amongst aquarists, though some can require specialized care and may not always be hardy aquarium specimens. Angelfish can be distinguished from the similar butterflyfish by the spine found on the lower gill cover.
