Purple Fuzz Acropora (Aquacultured A&M) The Purple Fuzz Acropora is a small polyp stony (SPS) coral. This unique coral has purple/blue coloring and appears incredibly fuzzy when its polyps are fully open. Often confused as a LPS coral due to the larger sized polyps. Like all SPS corals these are demanding of great water quality, water flow and strong lighting to thrive. Photosynthetic but can be fed additional foods such as zooplanktons. Benefits from supplemental additives such as trace elements, strontium and calcium. It is also important to maintain stable alkalinity and magnesium levels.
