Pink Plate Coral This Large Polyp Stony (LPS) Coral has the appearance of an anemone. Beneath the fleshy tentacles is a hard skeleton. Due to its stinging tentacles, the Pink Plate Coral requires adequate space between itself and other tank inhabitants. Please note that once placed in an aquarium, this species will absorb a fair amount of water and can grow almost double its size. This coral benefits from the addition of trace elements, strontium and calcium. This species does best on a sandy bottom.
