Japanese Swallowtail Angel The Japanese Swallowtail Angel is a reef safe angelfish. It is the female counterpart to the Zebra Angelfish making it one of the very few sexually dimorphic angelfish, as the male and female coloration and patterns are drastically different. This species easily adapts to aquariums as long as there is plenty of swimming room and plenty of hiding spots. Most abundant in deeper parts of the ocean than most Angelfish, from 60 feet to 160 feet.
