"Ignitus Anthias (Female) - Small (0.75""-1.5"" Length)"

Female Ignitus Anthias Also known as a Flame Anthias, Flame Basslet, Hanadai (Maldives), or Anthias Flamme (France). The Ignitus Anthias is an inhabitant of ocean reefs, mainly residing in the sloped areas. This fish also prefers fast currents within its tank. However, this species prefers tankmates that are passive and not aggressive. Plenty of hiding places are needed to acclimate this fish to its new surroundings, but open swimming areas are required as well. Like other Anthias, this species is hermaphroditic where the largest female in a group will change to replace a male that perishes.
