"Duboisi Cichlid Medium (1.5""-2"" Length)"

Duboisi Cichlid Beautiful blue with white spot coloration as a juvenile then changing to blue head with dark body and a yellow bar behind the pectoral fin. The Duboisi Cichlid is a slower growing species. They are mouth brooders and can be very territorial especially when breeding and it is not recommended to keep with more timid smaller species of fish. They can also be very aggressive with their own kind and should be kept in bigger groups of 6 or more. It is best for this fish to be kept in a tank with several hiding spots consisting of fine gravel or sand and rocks forming caves and mounds. Subdued lighting or plenty of places with shade is highly suggested as these fish are found in deeper water in the wild.
