Caulastrea Coral (Aquacultured A&M) Also known as Candy Cane Coral or Trumpet Coral This coral is a Large Polyp Stony (LPS) coral with stunning round polyps which can be further emphasized by using actinic lighting. As this LPS has extremely short sweeper tentacles, it is generally harmless to other reef tankmates. It prefers moderate water flow and lighting. It will readily accept many frozen foods and will grow quickly if well fed. Capable of eating various frozen foods as large as mysis shrimp and will benefit from frequent feedings. Benefits from the addition of trace elements, strontium and calcium. It is also important to maintain stable alkalinity and magnesium levels.
