Magnum 350 Pro System includes everything in the Magnum 350 Package plus the Bio Wheel Pro 60 Wet/Dry Biological Filter. This 3-in-1 filtration system delivers optimum mechanical, chemical, and classic wet/dry filtration, thanks to the Bio-Wheel Pro 60, a 15 ounce Carbon/Media container with Foam Sleeve, and reusable Micron Cartridge. The Marineland Bio-Wheel performs far more efficiently than old-fashioned submerged media like conventional undergravel and sponge filters. In fact, a Bio-Wheel Pro 60 outperforms a 60 gallon undergravel filter with 100 pounds of cultured gravel. Each seven inch wide Bio-Wheel is constructed of specially pleated, super-dense fiber and contains 9.39 miles of surface area for beneficial bacterial growth. Because the Bio-Wheel contacts the air as it turns, the bacteria are exposed to 30,000 times more oxygen than an underwater filter. More bacteria, exposed to more oxygen, work many times harder to eliminate toxic ammonia and nitrite. The only filter of its kind with a patented self-priming, bottom-mounted motor, the Magnum Canister Filter provides the ultimate in easy setup and restart capability, and that's just for starters. Water enters the canister, where it surrounds and flows through media rather than around it to guarantee total filtration without by-pass. And the Magnum converts easily from continuous duty to water polishing. The replaceable Rite-Size Filter Sleeve--101 square inches of surface area--traps dirt and debris. The large Carbon/Media container holds 15 full ounces of activated carbon to remove dissolved organic impurities for fresh, sparkling, pollutant-free water. The reusable Micron Cartridge (320 square inches of surface area) removes microscopic particles, eliminating the need for diatomite powder. The more it filters, the more efficient it becomes. Perfect for a fast clean-up, the Magnum Micron Cartridge polishes water to crystal clarity. The kit also includes two Magnum Double Quick-Disconnect Valves, and 15 oz.
