Dory, the most famous blue tang (Paracanthurus hepatus) in the world will be returning to the big screen in the sequel to "Finding Nemo," but this time, Dory is the fish that need's finding. According to the Wall Street Journal, Ellen DeGeneres, who was the voice of Dory in the 2003 Academy Award winning Pixar animated film, has signed on to be the voice of Dory in the new movie, "Finding Dory" and that she has been waiting a long time to help make the new movie.

“I'm not mad it took this long. I know the people at Pixar were busy creating ‘Toy Story 16.' But the time they took was worth it. The script is fantastic. And it has everything I loved about the first one: It's got a lot of heart, it's really funny, and the best part is—it's got a lot more Dory," DeGeneres told the Wall Street Journal.

"Finding Nemo" was a huge hit for Pixar when it was released almost 10 years ago. According to Box Office Mojo, a website that tracks movies, the animated movie about a lost clownfish made more than $380 million in the United States and more than $500 million at the international box office with a total worldwide gross of more than $900 million.

"Finding Dory" will be directed by Andrew Stanton, who directed "Finding Nemo," which won an Oscar for Best Animated Feature. It is scheduled for a Thanksgiving 2015 release date.

The blue tang is also known by a variety of other names, including regal tang, palette surgeonfish, blue tang, royal blue tang, hippo tang, flagtail surgeonfish, pacific regal blue tang and blue surgeonfish. It is an omnivore and grows to about 12 inches in length, and does best in aquariums in excess of 100 gallons.

It's about time they made a sequel! Dory was one of my favorite characters in the movie, so how great is a "Finding Dory" movie going to be? I vote Dory the 'fish most likely to get lost'.
