Some Available Brittle Star Species
If you keep these brittle stars, remember that all should be kept in systems of at least 40 gallons.
- Ophiarachna incrassata, the green brittle star
- fish-eating Ophiocoma spp., spiny black brittle stars
- Ophioderma spp., short-spined brittle stars
- Ophiolepis spp., serpent stars
- Ophiactis spp., spiny brittle stars
- Ophiothrix spp., needle-spined brittle stars
