Fish Tank Shopping List

Bonus content from the March 2010 AFI magazine article "Tank Setup: Things to Consider."

From the Editors of Aquarium Fish International

Are you getting ready to set up a fish aquarium? Maybe this is your first aquarium — or maybe your tenth. Either way, you’ll need some supplies to get started, and it’s much easier if you have a list of the items you’ll need. Take this with you when you go shopping for aquarium supplies to make sure you don’t forget anything. Below you’ll find categories of things you may need for the aquarium itself, for plants and animals, etc. You probably will not need all of these items — plan ahead to figure out what type of aquarium you would like and how best to go about setting it up. Then you’ll be ready to go shopping!
