The penguinfish is a very popular fish that is kept by many aquarium hobbyists all over the world. Its unique appearance makes it easily recognizable (in some circles, it is also called the “hockeystick,” but that may just be in the cold north where hockey is played). Its mild temperament makes this fish an excellent member of any community tank. It is very adaptable to varying water conditions, eats just about anything and breeds freely.
