What is a worm but a long, thin animal that is cylindrical? I suppose what often makes worms repulsive to some is that ultimate of all sins: being “squishy.” These characteristics describe a body type, but they don’t tell much about the animal itself.
Although they tend to have the same relative proportions, worms are represented by an amazing variety of animals.
