Specialized Feeders

Many aquarium fish do just fine with flakes, but some need special foods.

The selection of fish foods available at local fish stores, in mail order catalogs and on the Internet seems endless. However, not all foods are suitable for all fish. In this article, I will try to make some sense out of this bounty of food choices and make it easier to feed your various fish properly.

Most fish get along fine with basic staple foods — but some fish are specialized feeders, and we need to take care of their specific nutritional needs.
