Some terrestrial plants that will not thrive underwater are occasionally sold as aquatic plants. Be aware that there are several nonaquatic plants sold as aquatics.

Wow, I actually just bought like 6 mondo grass bunches from Petsmart, and I recall asking the Aquatics "Specialist" if they were truly aquatic, and he said: yes of course why would we have them inside our aquariums if they are not truly aquatic...
well tomorrow I am taking them back and requesting my money back or getting them exchanged for real aquatic plants, and I am learning my lesson do my research before buying.

Yeah when I first started my aquarium adventures I bought Mondo Grass from pet smart (stupid) tried as i may it died in a few months. What an unethical jip job these box stores are pullin.

Not to long ago I wasted my money by not doing my research and trusting Petsmart.
