Some terrestrial plants that will not thrive underwater are occasionally sold as aquatic plants. Be aware that there are several nonaquatic plants sold as aquatics.

Yeah when I first started my aquarium adventures I bought Mondo Grass from pet smart (stupid) tried as i may it died in a few months. What an unethical jip job these box stores are pullin.

These plants are a good example why you should do research befor buying.

I have seen these plants before. I have never put them in an aquarium.
