Platys come in reds, oranges, yellows, blues and blacks. They are active swimmers and need a lot of room to be content. They fare very well in community tanks because of their peace-loving nature.

Platies are livebearers, herbivorous, about 2-3 inches long. Males are smaller and more vibrant. Many color varieties are available and they easily breed. My faves are Sunset Fire Wag platies.

My Red wag platys are beutiful, peaceful, and had a few babies. Great for almost any community tank.

That's true they are indeed peacefull. some times they chase other fishes around specially their own kind like my red wag but i guess it's competion.
