Guppies have lots of fry all the time

Hi Cheryl. 1. Guppies are usually pregnant for 22-26 days. It could be longer if the fish is not well cared for. 2. The guppy, initially, should look a little rounder and have a spot on the abdomen. 3.A. Just so you know, guppies are liverbearers so they never 'hatch' like most other fish. As the name implies, guppies bear live young (technically they're born like humans!). 3.B. Most likely, the guppy gives birth between 2 and 6 hours. It could be shortened or prolonged depending on the guppy mom's condition and health. I sure hope it helped and remember guppies are like people because they are all different in their own fishy ways! :) ;) Good luck!
