Steven Bitter Steven Bitter is a senior aquatic biologist at the Florida Aquarium in Tampa, Florida. Prior to his current position with the Florida Aquarium, he worked for many years in the aquarium retail trade. His areas of interest include fish health and quarantine, scuba diving and coral reef restoration. Bitter has written features for Freshwater and Marine Aquarium, Aquarium Fish International, Marine Fish and Reef USA and Coral and Reef USA magazines. He writes the monthly “Species Profile” for Aquarium Fish International.
