Desert Aquarist Society
We are dedicated to the education and husbandry of aquatic and terrarium life in a captive environment. Together we can share our collective knowledge and experience for improved care and propagation of fish and terrarium life.  In particular, the DAS is dedicated to reducing the negative impact of the hobby on the coral reef, endangered species, and the rain forest. We are committed to educating the public on proper care and maintenance of these miniature ecosystems and to promote the interest and enjoyment of the hobby. Our society provides resources to the aquarium and terrarium enthusiast in Southern Arizona and surrounding areas by sponsoring meetings, lectures, online discussions, websites and other means, to connect local hobbyists. Pacific Coast Cichlid Association

The Louisville Tropical Fish Fanciers
The Louisville Tropical Fish Fanciers, Inc. is a non-profit society of hobbyists interested in the keeping of tropical fish and plants. It is the area's only all variety aquarium club covering tropical and cold fresh-water, brackish, and marine fish in aquaria and outdoor ponds. NEW HAMPSHIRE
New Hampshire Aquarium Society
The New Hampsire Aquarium Society is a non-profit group made up of people that have a common interest in marine and freshwater life and systems. We meet on the second Wednesday of each month from September through June. Our meetings are held at Somersworth High School / Technical school. Each meeting consists of a raffle, a bowl show ( nothing fancy, vote for the fish you like the best ), refreshments, a speaker and/ or a demonstration and a mini auction of about ten to twenty items made up of fish and dry goods. Interspersed with all of this is plenty of time for 'fish talk'. Our membership has varied interests, some salt but mostly fresh water. From no tanks to far more than are reasonable. Young and old.
We also plan a summer get-together each year. Past events have included wonderful BBQs at Odiorne State Park, trips out to the Isle of Shoals to take a look at their research facility and to spend the day enjoying the island. One summer we took the train to Boston and had a ' behind the scenes ' tour of the New England Aquarium.

Greater City Aquarium Society
The Greater City Aquarium Society was founded in 1922. It is one of the oldest continuously meeting aquarium societies in the United States. Houston Aquarium Society
The Houston Aquarium Society is the oldest aquarium society in Texas and one of the oldest aquarium societies in the nation. The Houston Aquarium Society was officially founded in April 1950. In recent years, H.A.S. has become the host of the largest all species fish auctions in the country. These auctions regularly run for at least 9 hours and feature around 1000 lots. There are field trips that we take throughout the state. The regular club meetings are at locations throughout the city. The Houston Aquarium Society continues to be the premier aquarium society in the Greater Houston area.

The Texas Cichlid Association
The Texas Cichlid Association is a group of hobbyists whose aim is to gather, organize, and distribute knowledge of cichlids (family cichlidae), to promote fellowship among its members, and to further the conservation of species and their habitat through education of its members. The organization produces Cichlid Tails, a bi-monthly publication dedicated to sharing technical and educational information on the keeping of Cichlids, and the keeping of aquariums and aquarium fish in general.  Meetings are held monthly, educational seminars, shows and auctions are held at least twice per year. History We have been able to trace the Society back to at least 1935, it may have existed before this but we have no documentary evidence so far. The Society has held Shows almost every year since 1945 and we have a record of a Show in 1938 at the Kursaal. New members always welcome.
