How big do lungfish get? He must cost alot to feed. A bristleworm is a flatworm. He has bristles all along his sides. He is a scavenger eating pretty much anything. I've been feeding him flake food and algae pellets. They can sting with those bristles on the side so I wanted him out of the main tank. They hide during the day for the most part. He's the whole length of the 10g tank I moved him into but is able to completely hide. It's a pretty interesting critter that repulses most people. Take care of that monster of yours. Vote.

That blind chromis eventually died. Poor guy. I finally caught that huge bristleworm. I bagged him with the tongs at 3am a week ago and put him in the 10g tank where he can't cause any harm. He's actually very interesting. How goes lungfish land? Vote.

I still think it's from trauma not parasites. None of the other 6 chromis show and signs of distress. The blind guy is eating. I put it right over his head. He ate quite a bit of cyclopeze tonight. He dosen't seem to be suffering at all. I'll keep ya posted. Vote for you.

The blind fish is still hanging in there. He's still blind too. I figured it might be brain swelling and once the pressure went down his sight may come back. I figured if I moved him it would stress him even more. He just hangs out at the four corners of the top of the tank. He must be sucking down some food that floats up there. I try to place it over him. He's still alive so he must have eaten something. Glad your fish are fine and thriving. Are they eventually going to outgrow the tank? Have a good night, vote for you.

How's my favorite exotic fish doing? I think one of my fish may have gotten whipped by an elusive pistol shrimp that hitchhicked in. I've never seen it but I've been hearing snapping noises. This poor fish was all stressed and hiding for 2 days and now he hangs at the top of the tank and bumps into things. He dosen't appear physically harmed in any way with no sign of disease. It's very strange. He smells food and makes a motion toward it and usually misses. What can you do for a blind fish? I hope it reverses. Hope all is well with you, take care. Vote.

Thanks for stopping by!
BigBen is housed by himself in a 125. He was previously in a 55. He is about 8 inches and would have been fine the 55, but I decided to give him more room and establish a planted community with danios in the 55.
He eats everything I give him. He's not picky, he getting fat. He demands and begs for food and has a great personality. I even tried dog food and he loved that.

Anyway here's a vote for you.

I've gotten hooked on some Australian corals. Maybe we gan get a group discount on corals and rare lungfish, lol. I hope the massicated human hands and feet are from people who are already done with them, as in dead already. How long is he? I read that you put him in the bathtub to stretch out so he must have some length. Is he aggressive? I was also wondering if he's related to eels. I'll stop asking questions now, lol. Vote for you.

those were the kind of lights that i was thinking about getting. i looked at them today as a matter of fact. i think my idea of drilling small holes in the lid. just big enough to get the ball through then mount the suction cup to hold them in place. i think youget the idea. im just wondering when i do it if im gonna have small beams of light or a broad light beam. i really wanna wider beam of light to accent both castles, but still have just enough light to highlight the red rock bottom.

led mounting
hey curious as to how you mounted your led lights? i was thinking of drilling a few small holes on my tank lid then puutting just the wires through so that the lights are just above the surface of the water. i dont like the idea of trying to hide all the wire inside the tank. i dont have enough stuff to hide them with. Does my idea sound like it would work?
