Cute couple. My hubby and I met on line and were married 8 years last month. The big thing is the first time we actually met was the night before we got married. Nuts huh? ! LOL But it works. Sailfin Tang I should have read a little bit more on the Tang before I bought him. He was a steal @ $16.00 at a local Swap Meet in Sacramento. He's pretty aggressive with the Yellow Tang and the Sail was one of the last fish introduced(last fall). Loves the Purple and Green dried seaweed and eats from your fingers, which is great when entertaining friends. He has almost doubled in size since October (about 6 inches now) but I think he will grow to the tank size. So, 100 gal= 12 inches long just about. I read that the ideal size is 125 gal for a full 15 inch growth. Now the "Sail"? Well, that's gonna need some room. Working on that now. Right on. ChadCome visit me, New Saltwater hobby dude.

hello thanks for stoppin by and lookin at my tank. about the hippo, yes there are prone to getting ich! if you have a qt i would recommend putting it in there for close to a month that way if the ich gets out of hand you can treat just that fish instead of the whole tank. i dont have a qt setup so after i acclimated it to my water she just went in. i did notice white spots on her that were only noticeable when the lights came on and after about 30 mins to an hr they were gone, that lasted for bout a week to 2 weeks! never had the lateral line! with the hippo remember they need a lot of room they can reach 12 in. well good luck keep me posted on how it goes for you! hears another voteCome visit me, reefer.

more photos below Hey everyone,my name is Bobby, im a firefigher and EMT-CC ( critical care EMT ) out here in suffolk county new york. i just joined the site about a week ago and im glad to see im not crazy, there are other people with this illness out there. my tank is a standard 55g that i've had up and running for about 4 months now, it started as a fish only and now im becoming a little more daring and trying to introduce some coral's and other inverts. i've been in this hobby for about 10-15 yrs and have taken about a 6 yr break for college and work but now im back. Its funny how im finding myself learning basic stuff all over again, but it's all coming back to me quickly.well, feel free to introduce yourself, im very easy going and approachable. you can see more pics below this comment section. I havnt figured out how to post them above just yet!!!Come visit me, saltyfresh.
