The tanks are built especially for Bettas with 4 pieces of glass so you can have up to 5 sections. Of course, I had to have them!! So cool watching the Bettas flaring up back and forth, with so many. Thanks for the comment. I live in Japan and there was some miscommunication in the number of tetras, I didn't watch her and when I got home to open the paper bag, I find twice as much as I expecte, they're tiny however. The pleco is the small spotted variety as well. Anyways, I have a 90 some liter tank housing a turtle in his last throws, so they'll have a bigger home in the future...returned your vote!Come visit me, Lake Superior, Guppy Planted, Tama River & Stamford Bridge.

Big Sharks
You said my Sharks will get big. I know will get big, but how fast will the pictus get to about 5 to 6 in? do you know when i should put my Bull Shark in saltwater?

14 years is a long time. As for the tank, it was walls to tank. This area use to be the corner of our great room. I set the stand and tank where I wanted the corner of the room to be and then built around it. The rooms 8' x 9'. A fare amount of room but it fills up quick! Ya gotta love it!
So after sending your message I decided to do a little research on your Glass shrimp (Palaemonetes paludosus) and found something interesting. It seems many people have reported the shrimp actually eating snail egg clutches. Sweet! Anyhow so I called my local Petsmart and found that first off they are way cheap... 30 cents a piece... and that secondly they happened to have thirty of them available. I now own 30 of these little buggers. They're pretty cool. I'm hoping I do better with them than I did several years ago. Apparently they like alkaline water so they'll love my tanks. Just hoping that they truly do eat snail eggs... we'll find out. Keep in touch I'd like to hear how yours do. Shrimp Rule!
Yeah I hear you. My advice is to get out of the shrimp thing now before you get addicted to them! :) As I sit here and type this I can view three types of Neocaridina and one type of Caridina in five tanks (four of which are nano tanks... one 10, two 2.5s and one 1 cube). Within two weeks I'm receiving shimpments of 2 types of Caridina and another Neocaridina. Fortunately my brother has decided to breed shrimp as well so he'll be taking some of them off of my hands. The list of shrimp I will be keeping by the first will include: Zhangs, Snowballs, Tigers, Amanos, Crystal Reds, Greens and Red Cherries. Now considering that I've only been into the shrimp thing for a year now... that's a lot. If I get another tank my wife's going to kill me. Cool! I love Ghost, Grass, Glass shrimp... they're really sweet little shrimp. I never did very well with mine... most of them died within eight weeks after purchase... could have been the water quality.
