Greetings!

Heres a vote for you my friend.everything is going great.Fish are all doing fine.I still only have the 4 fry.Haven't found any new ones yet.i think the female that was still pretty fat had her fry and the rest of the fish ate them.All the females look to be normal now.the pics of them are from last weekend.I'm going to take new ones when they get bigger.They just keep turnning out fuzzy yet.Take care my friend.See ya later.shannon, Temple, PA.

Thanks for the kind words, and yes the carpentry is mine. I also did the masnory for the reinforcing columns under the floor, the framing, sheetrock hanging and finishing, painting plumbing and am now working on the electrical. I'm a plumber by trade myself. Well, I turned wrenches for about 22 years, now I sit at a computer and run virtual 3D plumbing. Much easier on the back!! (LOL) Some beautiful discus you've got there. Pigeon blood and cobalts? I kept discus for a couple of years, now I'm an old salty. Gotta admit though, discus are still some of my favorites. Hiya!
Hi Kev,I thought I'd stop by and say hi. Hope you are well. Have you had any success with the breeding yet? I did some major cleanups this past weekend in both tanks. I was cleaning everything, piping, decor, gravel the whole lot. I also got a little birdie, a yellow parakeet named Tweety. My daughter is realy enjoying having him around. he is such a little cutie! Apart from that its been cold these past couple of days. It should be back to warm tomorrow again. We get cold snaps and then its fine unbtil the next snap. Take care. Cheers! BALLOON FANTASY HERE
Heres another vote for you my friend.I put the new pics up this morning.Hope you like them my friend.I got 2 albino cory's and a rubbynose pleco,and one male balloon molly.They all seem to be doing well with the other fish.I seperated one of the females and put her in a breeding box.She is just so huge I think shes gona have babies.That would be so cool to see little ones grow.Take care now my friend.See ya later.shannon, Temple, PA.

Well you really have some nice tanks going. Maybe someday I will try the discus. I went cheap today and bought 2 pair of guppies. They came out of a $65. trio. So I hope I got some good ones. Will see how long it takes to start having babies. I put them in a large bowl with live greenery and 2 snails. I wont put snails in my big tank but thought it would be fun in this bowl. One female looks pretty close to having babies. The other one doesn't show any signs yet. They are young.Leaving you a vote.Come visit me, Rhonda.

i'm surprised your using live plants with the undergravel. never tried it but have heard that it can be difficult. I tried keeping discus with angel fish but my angels were too aggressive and breeding often so they had to be removed. your discus look good.Come visit me, assortedtank, Firsttank, future setup & ROwithTap.

Nice setup! definitely up there with the the 90 gallon setup, though I'm sure you will agree more plants will enhance it somewhat. Here's another welcome and vote to you. Your discus are beautiful! I have 2 Angelfish, just the more common ones with the black stripes. I haven't had them that long yet, they're about silver dollar sized now. Angelfish are very interactive, but I know next to nothing about how Discus interact. If you've got the time I love to know what they're like, I think it's fascinating reading about them caring for their young. See,now I didn't know that my angels could have that high of heat. I think my water does get warmer than 76 in the summer. I am not going to mess with my temp right now as everything is going well inside my tank. I asked about the discus as I have a ten gallon I could set up (thinking of putting a pair in that) but that would not be large enough. Just dreaming I guessCome visit me, Rhonda.
