How are you doing? Yep, they changed this site now too! So far DC, CC, HC are all different. DC is so different that half the users left. It's not much fun anymore.

I was blog dropping again...lol. I saw you were looking at a house? Any more on that? How did you fair during the big storm? Hope you didn't loose power. Happy New Year!
How were your holidaze? Mine were great, we enjoyed most of it. And I got a new furbaby, yesterday we went to the humane society and adopted a 6mos old kitten who is already fitting in perfectly around here and he hasn't even been here 24hrs yet! that was actually my xmas gift, bf said we could adopt if we found the right one, boy did we ever! So old cat and dog are not sure what to think of him yet, and he's surely not sure what to think of my Rottie, he's like 2lbs and she's 140lbs hehe. She's very very gentle though and is confused why new baby is so scared of her. He's getting better though, bf says he suspects by the end of a week they'll have all gotten it mostly figured out. Well, guess I need to quit babbling and get busy around here. dishes are piled up and they aren't going to do themselves, no matter how much I wish they would! Hey, if you hadn't told me that was Jack who burped I also would have guessed it was a bird in the background. Birds have no manners. Oh, I guess guys don't either!
We have almost 2 feet of snow here. Took Pippin out with the sleigh today for the first time. Poor guy is on 2.5 feet tall so it was quite a workout for him. He never gives up though!

Hi Lizzy! I am on a 6 day vacation over Christmas. So since I had time, I thought I would pop in on here and check up on some old wonderful friends. How have you been? I hope all is well. I still have an angel tank, but have now moved on to cichlids. I just love them. I have bought all young fish, but some of them are getting big enough to start reproducing. Kids are coming home Sunday and staying over until Monday. Can't wait to have my babies here. Sounds like the weather will be OK for driving. We had a nasty blizzard yesterday. Was glad I didn't have to leave the house. I would like to wish you and Jack a very Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year! Come visit me, Rhonda.

Condolences
I did some blogsdropping and read about Morgan on PondCreatures page. Realized I hadn't stopped by to say hi in a very long time either. You have my sympathy and empathy. We had to put our dog Stanley down end of Sept, and we still get misty eyed over that old mutt and it's been almost 2mos! Amazing how much pets touch our lives and our hearts. Oh no! I am so very sorry to hear about Morgan. I know how attached to her you were/are and you have my deepest sympathy. Yes, I do know how you feel. Even now I still feel a pang or two when I think of Tiny. There are some very special creatures that touch our lives.

Sorry about the Pats but they gave it a good run for sure at least they made it to the Super Bowl! Feels kinda strange not having a game on Sunday to watch just have to wait until next Fall! I hope you miss out on the snow storm it has been really bad here this weekend and it still isn't over yet! I inharated 2 yellow tail damsels my friend no longer wanted actually thought it was a bad idea but so far it is good because now they are only attacking themselves leaving the rest of my fish alone! I got 2 new fishes a Niger Trigger I always wanted but thought it would eat my other fish but found out it is a plankton eater! Not sure about the Lunare Wrasse but so far all is well! Just heard from my son who is heading off to afganastan but so far he is in Ft Bliss, El Paso TX. training some more! I had to set up Skype on my computer before I went and helped out the Mother-in-law deliver news papers! Yeah what fun I had! I hope you are having a good week! How are you doing? I'm glad you're new year started out well and that everyone is doing fine. Ours didn't! Do you remember me mentioning a squirrel that we raised? She was coming into her 2nd year and would have had babies this spring. Unfortunately, a neighbour ran her over on New Year's Eve and killed her! We are so sad about that and angry that they drive too fast on OUR driveway!
And then one of our cats took a sudden turn for the worse and now she's gone too. She was Tiny's best friend so I like to think of them together now.
Other than that, things are fine. We're just heading for the coast on Sunday and will be there a week. The last couple of days have been up to 60! I like it!
Before that had been one of our coldest winters. Too cold even to snow and now that it's warm I'm wondering if this will be our first snowless winter? We'll see. Things can change.

Just me again
Coral beauties don't eat enough of the algae to make any difference. Since restarting the tnk, I have a problem with the damn hair algae. Just got a small urchin, they do a really good job, might get another one at some point. The algae is lost impossible to get rid of one it takes hold. Oh well. Might help if I got new bulbuls, the ones I have are very old, but that takes money. Just got my new heater, so one thing at a time!! The next thing we want to get is a big cat tower for the fur kids, having three of them, we need to keep them happy also. Can't complain about the winter we are having so far! Far cry from last year! The birds staying heathy? Not much going on here. Got a coral beauty and I know they army reef save, but its not bothering to two frags I have, there is plenty of hair algae to keep it busy! Glad to see your still in it how are the Marineland lights working out? I went a little bit the other way with the lights and bought an LED Pendant thought it was a mistake because I could only afford one and it would take 3 of them for my tank but so far the one is lighting my tank just fine! I remember you lived right by the ocean and you used to use the water. Are you using it now which would be a big reason your tank is a green mess! I did have that problem with the hair algea but it has finaly subsided but I am not getting the coraline algea like I had back agian but at least now I am Aptasia free for now and I hope it stays that way!
