This week
Well im a week behind on the project now, but today I will begin moving the 20 gallon and 30 gallon thats on the wall the counter will be on. The 30 will have to be temporarily reset in the center of the room as the area it goes to is not ready, the 20 gets set up beside the counter so that isnt too hard, i just need to build the stand for it. Possible move some of the males from the endler colony today as well.

Come visit me, Carlyle.

Remodel Weekly Update
Well here we are a week later and some progress has been made. Today I finished the stand for the 10 gallon tanks that will become the livebearer breeding area. And have moved the first 5 tanks to the stand the rest will be moved tommorrow, I will only have to buy 1 new 10 gallon tank. Also tommorrow I plan on working on catching some of the males out of the Endler's Livebearers colony and move them to one of the 10's on the breeding rack, this will serve as a spot for extra males for the time being until I can find people in the area that wish to have them. The extra females I dont worry much about but will weed some of them out as people want some. I have begun thought on what live bearers Im going to attempt to breed next. In addition to getting a few new trios of Endler's. I used to have a trio of Xiphophorus Evelynae that i could get to drop fry but never could get the fry to live more than a few days. The local aquarium societies spring aution comes up in April so I hope to find a few of these there. I would also like to maybe try a few other Xiphophorus species.
What's next for the fishroom remodel. Well I have located a counter base that should serve well for my needs in the room so I will hopefully get that in the next week or so. Then I will have to buy the 3 new 20 gallon tanks I need for my original rack. Right now it's all about the money and getting enough set aside from the bills to do what I need to do.
The Multifacitus colony that I moved to the family room last week is doing great they have started to stake out new territories and realign the pecking order, and they have really redecorated my sand, with these guys it doesnt matter how you lay your sand they will redo it the way they see fit.
Well that brings us up to date for this week. Ill hopfully bring more new next week.
(BTW if you have left a post for me and I removed it, it's nothing personal just trying to keep my posts near each other but i do like to hear your comments.)

Come visit me, Carlyle.

Fishroom remodel
I'm in the process of remodeling my fish room. When complete I will be able to keep more tanks, thus more fish, and do so in a more organized fashion. Currently have 4 20 gal. High tanks (3 with fish in them), 11 10 gal. tanks (these are currently in the proceess of being moved about (3 with turtles, one with an african clawed frog and 1 with Endler's livebearers. The rest are awaiting the new shelf Im in process of building, but should be ready for water shortly. I have 1 20 gal. long tank that holds a mismash of type of fish, typically use this tank for fish that I have no chance of breeding (IE lost the mates). I also have 2 30 gal tanks (one with a Oscar and other holding a large pl*co. A 30 gal high tank also holds another large pl*co for now (this tank will be phased out when I find a new home for one of the pl*cos.) I Just moved around a few tanks yesterday in order to move my only 40 gal. out of the fish room and into the family room. Both to give me room to work as I remodel and to put something a bit more interesting in the family room (Had a single albino krib before. Now I have the 40 gal set up with a colony of Multi's and 3 niggripinnes (spelling) I have one other tank in the Home theater room (54 gal corner tank.) With a variety of tetras, a firemouth cichlid and some cories. I hope to include some picture soon but my camera isn't working at the moment.
