Old fish
That's an old fish (Your dentists daughters). Although, goldfish are renound for their long life and can live to an average of 20 years with good care. I've even heard of the worlds oldest goldfish living to be 43 years old. And get was won at a carnival.

Hi from Son's Betta
Heres another vote for you to.My mom and dad go to "that fish place that pet place" for all of our fish. They have pretty healthy fish there. We haven't had any die on us from being sick from there yet. It's a half hour drive to get there from where we live but my dad say's it's well worth the trip.We had nothing but trouble with the stores that are close by our house.Plus they have alot bigger selection to chose from than any of the rest around here.Take care now.See ya.

My goldfish is a calico Telescope-Eye and her name is Fiona. I don't know why I named her that, she just seemed so delicate and petite. I almost think of her as a little flower when she swims. So I decided Fiona was suiting of the title. How long have you had your fish?

yeah you could have a pond in alaska but you would have to find out what your freeze zone would be in the ground and dig a couple feet past that here in my state we have a freeze zone of 18 inches so i dug it deeper than 18 inches more like 4 feet to prevent the pond from freezing over and i also have a pond floating heater to keep it from completely freezing over, but you would have to reseach it first, yep these are goldfish and are not koi, they are the sarassa comets and regular goldfish type i also have some shubunkyn goldfish as well, later my friend..><}}}">

~Nice Goldfish~
Hey, Just dropped by to wish a fellow goldfish keeper good luck with her goldfish! However, the goldfish will need a bigger tank very very soon, so be saving up for that!
