Discus are a bit more 'difficult' than most other tropical fish, but I kid you not, a lot of discus keepers have started out in the hobby keeping discus. Not everyone is that lucky as many hobbyists can attest to losing many of them for obscure or unknown reasons. But I think that if you follow a few simple rules, implement a few controls like quarantine and UV sterilisation, it actually becomes quite easy. They are finnicky feeders, but they will eventually accept good quality flake, bloodworms and brineshrimp. They will also eat most ox heart preperations, though I do not like feeding them that. And they need a higher temp than most others. All things considered, I think you could keep them successfully too. Have a lovely Christmas! Cheers! my 120gal
yeah i do have a ton of wood and there is alot of wood you are not seeing as well hidden behind the amazon sword plants, that gold nugget is sweet but i was afraid that my royal pleco would kill him but he hasnt paid any attention to him as of yet and he has been in there for a while now, my royal is really big, now my sailfin pleco will turn into a monster so i may have to move him to the african tank when he gets really big, later my friend and stay safe this week..><}}}">Come visit me, Pittbull setup.

yeah that tank is very bright, my daughter loves her tank and all of the neon colors, i feel sorry for the fishes though because they should be wearing sunglasses due to the brightness in all, hehehe, really its not that bright anymore due to the lighting has faded a little since i set this tank up for her, cool thanks my friend heres a vote..><}}}">Come visit me, Pittbull setup.

thanks my friend, yeah this tank is a colorful tank with my africans, and the aggression is crazy high, but they are cool to watch, but i do love the wood and plant look of a tank, so how long have you been keeping fish aquariums, and wow a custom tank thats nice, i would love to build a custom tank of 500gal or more, heres a vote my friend..><}}}">Come visit me, Pittbull setup.
