school dazed and confuzed so I'm loving my classes so far. Of course, only having to go 3 days a week and not having to do any math homework helps hehe. I do have to come up with 5 sketches of #D ideas for metal sculpting. I only have 3 so far, but it's mostly cuz I really never worked much in 3D, most things were either already made and ready to be painted (ceramic items), or 2D like pics or plates etc so now I get to learn about positive negative space, and how to assemble my ideas into something creative (or at least a pile of something haha). I'm enjoying a super moist yummy brownie for breakfast with some ice cold milk...I made them yesterday but didn't get any so figured I'd better score one now before the rest of the gang eats them. That's pretty common around here with teen boys and their friends, they can EAT OMG! Then again, it's rare something ever spoils so my cleaning of the fridge is only wiping it out, not having to toss out 'science experiments' which I really hate doing, EWWW! Hope the b-day cake is yummy and that you have fun with your cousing!Come visit me, SpazSewer, SpazBees, Gobi-Wan Kenobi & K-Spaz.

musical tanks it is tricky keeping up with your moving and shaking things about, whew. Epic bubble nesting! That's some fin! Sorry about the leo, always tough when a critter gets ill. I'm trying to see if I have as good a blog to write as you left me...Don't think I can compete with that, you have a knack indeed! I've been talking with my aunt, we're still debating her 120 fin tank. My main problem is it will have to come with her ANCIENT pleco who is over 16" long and really really creepy and another ANCIENT fin, a calico gold fish that is really huge and bizarre in behavior. And I know as soon as I touch the tank at home, they'll most likely die then I'll have all that guilt over that and that I didn't want them to begin with. I don't do well with guilt HAHA. Actually, neither of us are in any hurry to actually tear it all down and get it moved. It's going to be a major chore and well, it's hot now and we're lazy HAHA. I'm starting a watercolor class this week, and have been working on some other home paint projects, will finish up some shelves today and a few other small but fun things. Tough life I lead lately! Well, there's also sweeping, vacuuming and mopping to be done as well as dusting a few more rooms in the house. But hey, I got dishes done last night so at least the kitchen was clean when I got up! Now that stepson is back home, will be doing some more rock moving and digging/leveling for paver placement. It's a lot of work but will be worth it to not have to traverse across amazing amounts of scary ankle eating river rocks! Not sure how the meter folks have survived this long on them, wonder if they have a buddy system along with rope and tackle HAHAHA! Thanks for the update and will chat later. I think I'm going back to bed!Come visit me, SpazSewer, SpazBees, Gobi-Wan Kenobi & K-Spaz.

How are things going? It's really rainy and windy here. In fact, we got 2 inches of rain last night and that's a lot for here. We rarely get that in a year! We're very happy with it. Would you be so kind as to stop by every day the last few days of this month? I'm hoping to win top setup again. How are you doing? I'm glad to hear that the fry are growing. So sorry about Cheerful though. Has spring shown her face over there yet? It's been nice here. Up in the 50s with some freezing at night and some nights no frost at all. Yippee, the warm weather is on its way. We've had some nice sunny days but also had some heavy rain which is really good because we so need it. Melian seems to be allergic to spring. She has broken out in horrible hives and is now on a strong antihistamine. We can't figure out what causes it but we know it's something outside. And Melian loves to be out so... Hopefully it's seasonal and will pass. Pippin is already shedding and that makes all the local birds happy. They love using his fur to line their nests. Anyway, everyone is happy with spring here and I hope you're enjoying some warmer weather too. Here's a vote for you. ttylCome visit me, Pond Creature (Rest in peace sweet Tiny girl).

Hiya I take it your Dad works for Mac. Nice to have a techno wizard in the family. Wish I could afford an iPhone and service. My cell phone is about 8 years old already. Big scare last night. I was cooking in the kitchen. Jack was stepped out of the livingroom for a moment and when I walked back in there was little Suzie Q the sun conure on the living room floor with two cats staring at her not two feet away. She probably would have been mincemeat if I walked in a few seconds later. The cats had been remarkably reserved but I don't think their will power would have lasted much longer!! Especially since one of them is still kittenish and the other is a known bird assasin. Lucky for Suzie I saved her butt. She just stood there on the floor where she had flown down with an "I'm so cute" look on her face. Well time to go, talk to ya later.Come visit me, Lizzy Limpet.

Hey!! For starters!!! Thanks for dropping by!! Sounds, like your H2O is all out of whack. Kribs, can handle some hardness, not to much. Maybe, you should look into Lake Malawi Cichlids with H2O, that hard you couldn't go wrong. CONVICTS!!! I had them also, they're neat to watch, after they spawned. Problem is nobody wants them. You basically, have to give them away. Your divider is the right idea. Don't want to be swamped in convict fry. Well, GOOD LUCK!!!! I hope someday, Kribs will be on your tankmates list!!Come visit me, The Auglaize river, The Maumee river, The Little Auglaize river & The Ottawa river.

THANKS!!! I APPRECIATE the VOTES!!! What kind of H2O do have in your area. I have mainly hard. No problems here in keeping them. In fact mine breeding regulary. The best to tell you is, buy 1 to see if it survives. They are easy to take care of, they do become aggressive after spawning. I mean they're not tank killers. Once, they are established, make sure you have a cave of some kind of, or empty a flower pot, for them to breed in. The female turns a Beautiful Purple. They're worth the money. If you do decide, on trying them. Please feel free to ask any questions or concerns. Take Care Friend!!!Come visit me, The Auglaize river, The Maumee river, The Little Auglaize river & The Ottawa river.

Having a good weekend? ours has been very busy and fun. Got to see my first pro wrestling event live, it was so hilarious and cheezy! Gonna make some yummy steaks for dinner tonight so guess I had better go work up an appetite. Have to clean spazbees, had to get some salt premixed and aged, and thinking need to try a little harder to see about getting the larger tank set up hehe. Poor bf, good thing he's patient and kind, well, and has a great sense of humor cuz otherwise, this family would drive him nuts haha. Dogs are great, boys are actually awesome and life is good. brace yourself! Wow, do you have a lot going on! Well, we do too, been busy doing yard work and finding all sorts of things under all the leaves and dirt. Happily we have over 70 square pavers that we can use to extend along the driveway cuz right now it's all river rock and TREACHEROUS to walk on. Not sure how the meter reader guy hasn't broken his ankle. Will be using those million tons of rocks to help in the backyard as my dogs LOVE to bury things and then taunt each other by digging up the others' treasures. YUCK! Once we take out a raggedy pine tree there will be a perfect place for a pond/water feature! YES! Not sure we'll do it this summer, but I can wait till next, believe me! Hope you have a grand sort of weekend and will chat later lil friend!Come visit me, SpazSewer, SpazBees, Gobi-Wan Kenobi & K-Spaz.

And we kept our groovy 'buddy holly' looking glasses HAHA! How's the fins? So far all of mine are doing fine, and I'm planning on getting some remodeling done this week and start planning some new fins. I'm really sorry that you've had such trouble with your fish and I can understand how frustrating that can be. Sometimes you just have to let go. How are your fry doing now? I'm glad that after all that at least there were some fry and not just imaginary ones. We lost another of our dogs on Thursday. She had lots of health issues and suddenly got really sick last week and we had to put her down. So, we're all a little sad here. Reading your blogs is a bit like reading halloween ghost stories. How are things doing? Have you ascertained whether you really have fry? It would be nice to have some new life to help balance out all the tragedies. It's really cold here now. In the single digits last night and the pond is completely frozen over. Can't even see orange blobs anymore. I'm thankful I'm not a fish. I have a couple of new videos on YouTube. If you're interested search for "The Bliss of being Saluki" and "Pippin's Wild Ride." Hi Great news about the babies!!!! I wish you good luck with them. Nice to hear good news today. Well, here's how my day went. I got home this morning at 7:30 am after spending another sleepless uncomfortable night at the hospital. I noticed that Jack hadn't left for work yet and thought that was strange. I was sooooo looking forward to taking a shower and maybe a bit of a nap because I was exhausted. My back was killing me from that horrible bed at the hospital too. Well, he met me at the door and said bad, bad, bad news. I say what? The fish tank had sprung a leak somewhere untrackable and had dumped all over the floor and even ran down into the basement. So we ended up running all over the place trying to find a replacement tank that would fit into the same spot. We finally ended up getting a 55g that overhangs into the bay window a bit but would work. I had to buy a new stand too because the old was too small and had nearly disintigrated from the leak. Then when we got home I had to dismantle everything in the tank into totes including all the sand with minimal loss of life. I'm glad there are only three fish right now. Then we had to move the old tank out and get the new one in place and reverse the whole process. It took all my strength not to just sit down and cry all afternoon. I thought my back hurt earlier well that was n othing compared to now!!! There is still alot of silt that needs to clear out but I got it all back together. All the rock needs to be re arranged because I pretty much just lobbed it in to cut down on die off. I have to wait till the silt dissapates before I can fine tune it because I pretty much can't see anything. Thursday I can spend the day fixing it. I hope I don't lose any corals from all the trauma. What a day!!! So how was yours?Come visit me, Lizzy Limpet.

Hey Happy belated Halloween to you! I'm on the work computer since mine at home is being so badly behaved. It takes forever to load and freezes up alot. I've scanned for viruses and it always comes up negative. I think the spyware and the antivirus that the best buy geeks loaded onto it are competeing with each other and causing problems. They both seem to be loading when it freezes. Why they put to different brands on is beyond me. Makes me wonder if they really know whats going on. I know Jack paid them quite a bit to have the computer all ready when he gave it to me X-mas before last. How are the new fishes doing?Come visit me, Lizzy Limpet.

Oh my goodness, your past year reads like a tragic soap opera! All those names of past loved ones who's lives were so short. How are things now with the ph and the 4 cichlids? Things are doing fine here though a little too cold for my liking. Every plant that has managed to hang on till now died last night in the freezing cold. I can't wait until spring. And the fish have really slowed down. This is one time of year when I'm really glad I'm not a fish. Well, here's a vote for you. Sounds fun looking at those pearlies. convict convictions oh yea they are mean little buggers but someday I'll have some! In all my years of fin keeping (I am freaking on how many that is...since I was 3...when did I get this old?) anyway, I haven't really kept cichlids but now that life will be more settled and I won't be moving for many years, (if ever!) I can finally look to indulge my fin fantasies. Boys will be gone in a few years so that leaves more rooms for a tank or 2 hehe. lucky my bf is awesome and indulges me! Civil war, very interesting and tragic. 15 is not too old to trick or treat cuz she can say she wants to take you! Jeesh! Though that is about the last year you can get away with it, my daughter misses it (she's about to be 22) cuz free candy is well, FREE CANDY! We will be too busy with cleaning of the apt and unpacking, boys have some parties to go to but no goodies for them. Of course, they are a bit old (16&17) and my son is 6'3" so he'd prolly scare away little kids anyway HAHA! Told him he should be Lurch this year hehe. Well, dogs need walking and the day needs to begin, chat with ya later lil missy and hope you have a great day!Come visit me, SpazSewer, SpazBees, Gobi-Wan Kenobi & K-Spaz.

Beap! What's ROFL mean? I'm not quite that computer literate. Nice litte design you made too! Very creative. I wish you well with your new fish pals and hope they live a long and happy life. Being that territorial so soon must mean they acclimated and adapted very well. Good signs. The WW2 re-enactment was pretty neat. They had tanks and even a german spotter plane called a Storch that they flew around. Everything seemed very realistic to me and LOUD. The artillery they were firing sounded quite real. The place was packed too. Seems to be a very popular event. They had campsites set up with radios and cookware and everything from the time period. The soldiers played dead really well too, lol. When they went down they didn't move for quite awhile. All in all it was worth the trip. Then we stopped at a yummy chinese buffet along the way and an apple farm that had huge apples. A good day. Today we had company so we ran around stashing stuff away so the place didn't look too messy and it'll probably take us days to find things again. Back to the grind tommorrow.Come visit me, Lizzy Limpet.

Howdy I hope your mom lets you get a conure. Our sun conure is a very loving, cuddly and funny bird. She's awfully bossy though for a youngster. She's always stepping on the green cheeked conure's back and ordering him around and stealing his food right out of his mouth. He still seems to love her even though he gets exasperated every now and then. Then he lets her have it. After a very very busy week at work I was so ready to go home and relax. But, no, I have to stay in this stupid place on call AGAIN!!!! I don't feel like I have any life anymore. It's probably reflected in my blogs too because I never have anything new and wonderful to tell, lol. Jack will be medically cleared to return to work on the 19th. That's good because he's bored to tears at this point. I think it's funny because he always says he can't wait for retirement. Seems to me that it'll be just like the past couple of months been which is making him crazy. Can't wait to get home and enjoy the rest of the long weekend. I think we're going to a WW2 re-enactment on Sunday so maybe I'll have something new to share. The fish are fine. The damsel is still a jerk. I ordered a couple of new corals and some snails in an online sale. I hope they do well. Take care and have a great night.Come visit me, Lizzy Limpet.

Hi Tonight we hear on the news that the hospital is in final negotiations with a corporation called Caritas that has a bunch of hospitals in Mass. How nice that we employees have to hear news concerning our future on the news instead of management letting us know. I actually hope the new company will oust the whole lot of rotten managers we've had that have driven the place into the ground. They cry poor and go into recievership but continue to waste money like crazy. I just don't get it, it's so frustrating. Hiya Blogged my own page. I hate it when I do that! Thank god for c/p! It's Jack's birthday today so we went out to lunch. He got a e-mail coupon for a free birthday burger at Red Robin. He loves their chicken patty burgers and I saved $10 with the coupon. It was my treat of course. That's all the exciting news for the day. Went to Petco for frozen brine shrimp and looked at the fish (of course!) and they had hardly any stock. They probably all died. They aren't very good at fishkeeping. Hiya It was very boring at the hospital. There were no emergency cases so I made no money other than the lousy $2.50 an hour to be on call. I couldn't sleep at all and tossed and turned all night. I'm so glad to be home and will relish being back in my own bed tonight. Hard to believe it was 9/11 and it's been 8 years already. Does 9/9/09 have anything bad attached to it?
