Fish Art Upgrade
Come check out the Fish Art upgrade. I replaced the 45 gal tank with a 75 gal tank. Upgraded the lights, from 4 T5's to 8 and increased the number/size of pumps. Also moved all the soft corals to my other two tanks so that this tank now contains only LPS & SPS corals. By the way nice clam.Come visit me, Fish Art & Fish Art Frag Tank.

hey man thanx for the advice. i wasnt sure about the tang i get mixed reviews from ppl when i ask. the fish store i go 2 said i probably could but i decided against getting one. yeah im considering adding some sps possibly and an anemone for my clown. i wish i could get a bigger tank but my parents hate the one i got so i dont think that will happen anytime soon lol.

Good News & BAD News
Well I have some good news & some really bad news. I moved into a new home this past week which is the good news. The bad news is my beautiful reef "Crashed" during the move. For those who don't know what "Crashed" means, all my corals, clams, most of my fish perished in just three short hours it took me to move the tank. I think oxygen depletion was the cause but not positive. My Sailfin Tang and Coral Banded shrimp are the lone suvivors. I had to remove all the live rock and scrub them clean in saltwater to remove all the dead and dieing corals and sponges and do a massive 95% water change. I cried but I'm over it now:( Anyway time to start over and that's what I'm doing. See ya all around the reef ><}}}">Come visit me, skeeterdav2002 & metaldav2005.

I finally got some fish in that SW tank I started. The nitrogen cycle finished so I now have an occeralis clown and a dragon goby. Thanks for the information. I looked up Copepods on the internet and that is definitely them for sure. I have had this tank running for about 6 weeks now with the live rock and sand so I am thinking that its time for some fish. I have had the tank for 3 weeks now and I guess I will take your advise and wait a few more weeks to make sure the nitrogen cycle has gone through it's complete cycle. Phew, thats good to here that those little bugs are not going to eat my future fish. Do they eventually die off or do they just stay on the live rock? The tests kits that I have right now are made by API and Nutrafin. I think these were the less expensive ones but I cant remember now. I have a nitrite, nitrate, ammonia, ph and hydrometer tests kits right now. I have just ordered a Calcium and Phosphate one also. Do I need any others. I have not done any mojor water changes. The only thing I have done is either added more prepared salt water or fresh declorinated water depending on what the salintiy level is. Should I be doing any other changes before I put any fish in. I am going to wait for quite awhile to put fish in. I want to make sure I learn as much about salt water fish care that I can before adding fish. I dont mind waiting as I am quite enjoying all the cool stuff that comes out of that rock. I have had 3 different types of Starfish. Thats why I call the tank Starfish. I have a pic on my profile if the tank of one of the Asterina Stars on the side of the tank and also a really good pic of a crab. Just wanted to thank you again for the offer to help and the email address to ask questions. I really appreciate and will probably take you up on that offer. I am having a hard time determining which hitchhikers in my tank are good and which are bad. Particulariy when it comes to these little tiny insects that crawl around all over the rock and the sides of the glass like ants would.
