Hello..I wonder if the clams died and then the crabs were eating them.You have a lot of crabs and perhaps they had no food supply and had to eat.Usually they would eat and attack each other.Anyway,thanks for the reply.I will be out of town for awhile,going to Nassau in the Bahamas..take care Tonh

hello..I never heard of the crabs eating the clams??I have lots of crabs,so far no one has touched the clams.How long did you have the clams before they died?Happy 4th.

Hello..thanks for the reply.You are having trouble with Nitrates?What kind of lighting do you have?Clams are great for using nitrates.I have 3 clams so to have a little nitrate is good for them.Most clams require high light.Or perhaps more water changes,partial,or less food for fish.Hope this helps,let me know..Tony
