Crab
No, i don't have a problem with any of it. My fish are large enough for the crab not to bother, but then again, my crab is a bottom feeder and scavenges at night while my fish are all middle or top feeders. Water quality is fine. My tank has a large filter and lots of circulation. I leave the temp around 78 so everyone is happy. I just added 2 mollies though and they have a tendency to pick on the larger slower fantail since she is what i call disabled. That will change when i move them out though. Thanks for the votes everyone!

Don't you have trouble maintaining water quality since you have the cool water species like goldfish mixed with the tropical water species like angels? And does your crab mess with the other fish? I just got one and am afraid he will mess with the other fish if I put fish with him.

Question
I see you have a gourami. I was thinking turning my 55 gallon tank into a tank with 6 dwarf gourami, 3-4 clown loches, about 3-4 corys, 2 cat fish, plecostomus, a red tail shark, and 2 tinfoil barbs. My filters are 30-60 gallon whisper power filter and 2 550 penguin power heads connected to a under gravel filters. Do you think that would be a good community or to much BioSpace.

My aquariums
I love my aquariums. I have been a fish lover since I was a child. I started with a goldfish bowl like most kids do and graduated to a 10 gal community tank once I moved on my own. I have had up to 6 tanks at one time, with the main tank being a 30 gal tall, a 10 gal and small 1.5 gal tanks scattered on tables, even my kitchen table as my centerpeice. I now have a 70 gal corner pentegon I bought at a garage sale for $30. Its my favorite tank! I also have a 30-35 gal that was given to us and a 20 gal that is not up at the moment. I also have 2 10 gal, 2 1.5 gal tanks that are currently not up. For my grandsons birthday, I took one of the hexagon 1.5 gal and set it up with 2 african frogs and 2 small goldfish for him. He wanted frogs so that is what he got!lol Now he is learning to take care of them. He is 7 yrs old. All my tanks are freshwater. We are expecting a 300 gal saltwater tank soon that a friend is giving us. They are moving out of state and don't want to move it. It will include all fish, accessories, etc. Fully loaded! I can't wait! I told my husband he would have to move the tv to the bedroom since I am taking over that wall for the new tank!lol I have always wanted a saltwater tank but was to afraid to get one. I was under the impression that they were very hard to take care of and very expensive to set up. However, I have been doing a lot of reading on the subject, and it is not as hard as I thought it was. I am really looking forward to it! I will be given 2 days notice to set up my empty tanks to hold the fish temporarily while the main tank is emptied and moved over here and re setup. We will be using the original water that is in the tank now so we shouldn't have any problems getting the fish back in quickly. It is a good thing I have cement floors! I will post a pic of the tank when I finally get it setup and going. I don't have a date yet, but I will keep you informed.

When the 30-35 gal tank arrived I was very surprised. A friend of my husbands gave it to him. Originally, he had the 20 gal setup with his goldfish, (he is a goldfish lover) 5 normal sized orange fish. When I came home one day, he had 2 large goldfish, one orange, one white added to his tank and 2 LARGE fancy goldfish added to MY tank! I was not happy to say the least. I am not a goldfish lover and don't like them in my tank, but I do like fancy goldfish. I had planned my tank (70 gal) out and was only going to put community fish in it with danios, swords, mollies, etc. On top of that, I add salt to my tank and I thought it would harm the goldfish. It hasn't. I love my new fish, but they will be moved to the 20 gal tank once the 300 arrives and it is free. Then he comes home with a 1.5 gal hex he bought at a garage sale which included this gorgeous turtle and a snail for 2.00. We finally got the 30-35 gal tank set up and all the goldfish (his) turtle and snail into the new tank. He insisted on putting in something for the turtle to climb on and rest out of th
