wow! thats a very big and old pleco! how big was he when you got him. im glad that you have given these larger fish room. a lot of people think that the 1-inch of fish per gallon and enough, but goldfish in perticular produce a lot of waste and require a lot of filtration. i have 5 goldfish and 2 mediu sized koi in a 750 gallon pond. them seem to be doing very well. keep up the good work! heres another vote:) Come visit me, skippy's memorial, Joey's 20 gallon species display tank & 10 gallon display tank.

Awesome!
Awesome pictures. I love your fish. My pleco was about 7 inches or so but got sick and died along with my other tropicals. Did you get your pleco as a baby? I'm planning on getting 2 small plecos so they can "grow up" together. Here's a vote!

Rearrangement
I've rearranged a couple of my tanks. I've moved my Goldfish from the 20gal to the 55gal. He needed more room. And I moved the 5 Green Tiger Barbs to the 20gal. The Killifish are now in a new 10gal tank with some shrimp and snails and the old Black Skirt Tetra has been moved to the 29gal.Come visit me, 55gal Goldfish, 29gal Betta & Friends & 10gal Dwarf Puffers.

I am glad that they all get along for you. I had a lot smaller tank then too. My koi angels are sure getting big. The bigger they are getting the more orange that comes out on them. My boss was over and saw them. She has 2 tanks. She went fish shopping this past weekend and bought herself a pair. Here is a vote..Come visit me, Rhonda.

tiger barba don't bother your angels? I never had luck mixing tigers with any other fish. I am setting up my 55 this weekend with an angelfish community. 4-5 juvie angels and a large group of neons. Come visit me, Fry Tank & JohnB's community tank.

questions about your tank?
What are the dimensions of your tank? I am looking into gettign a free tank from my coworker who claims the tank is a 55 gallon. But he told me the dimensions are 3 feet long by 1 foot deep and 2 high. When I work out the math, I come up with 45 gallons. I like the tall tanks for the angelfish so that is what I am looking for in the next tank.Come visit me, Fry Tank & JohnB's community tank.
