Yea, even when I wore swimsuits my 2 piece ones were not much better than a one piece. I agree, somethings should stay private! hehe. So sorry about Bubbles, very sad. My day yesterday was pretty good, my bff came and grabbed me for manicures! My nails grow really nicely so I never need fakes but I sure enjoy having someone else make them nice. My arm is getting better, but wow, does it still hurt. I hate breaking bones, even hairline cracks are just so very annoying! I'm getting used to being lazy though, if only I had the ability to train the pets to bring me drinks and snacks hehe. Here's some get well wishes for Bubbles. My bf had never been a fish keeper until he met me, and our first fish together was a really cool Betta, we called him BoB, he started out at my office when I had a job, and then came home with me when I had a week vacation and he just stayed home. He was quite entertaining, and we all watched him more than the tv some nights. Well, need to finish some light chores and get back to resting. This whole arm thing is really boring and annoying! At least we got a lot of rains the past few days so there was no need to go outside, with or without clothes HAHAHA. Figured I'd stop by to vote for Bubble, since I never have before. He's a very nice looking betta and looks very healthy! proving Bubbles is no bubble-head! Great story! Gotta get a move on, helping a neighbor with errands all morning but then will have the afternoon all for myself. Sometimes being grown is so delightful, like when I'd rather play a video game than finish folding socks hehe. Glad your snow is melting. Hello!
got up at 5am to enjoy a delightful rain shower that did a good job of making me happy while soaking the place. Now the sun is peeking through the clouds and it's quite lovely out. Have some errands to do with my dad today. After doing a bunch of chores for him yesterday, my arm was really protesting and I only got about 1/2hr of Wii time in. Gonna tell him today he's interfering with my gaming HAHAHA. He'll just say 'Good for me' and tell me I'm lucky he needs me so much hehe. He can be pretty funny and likes to tease and be teased. Loki is still full of mischief. Yesterday I brought him home a new mouse toy (you pull its tail and it vibrates for a bit) and so he grabbed it and was parading around the house for about 20mins before he decided to 'kill' it. Now it's in his favorite place where he checks on it every so often to make sure no one else has touched it. He cracks me up daily! Oh yea, bathrooms, always annoying as well as dishes. I'd rather take out trash and do litter boxes...Windy like crazy here today, and it was snowing so bad in the mtns my son got lucky and didn't have to work so he and I spent most of the day hanging out and he bought me a video game too! Woohoo! it's an older one, a TombRaider for Wii from 2006, but it's lots of fun and well, need to break away from Zelda for a bit, she's getting kinda clingy HAHAHA. My poor kitten is doing ok, but he did end up getting a nasty blister on one pad and so we're trying to keep some stuff on it and he's limping but still having fun and it's looking pretty clean, even though he licked it until it's now a bit bloody, but as long as it won't get infected, it should clear up in a few days. Poor little guy learned a hard lesson. but he still has to help me with the sink. Oh, and my bf has a case of tummy flu so while he was up in the middle of the night with, uh, nasty vomiting, Loki climbed up his back, put one paw on his head, the other 3 on his shoulder and got all in his face HAHAHA. My son said he was just letting him know he'd get through this, but bf says it's just typical Loki putting his nose into what he thought was business needing his nose or more likely "Wow, mom feeds us much better than she feeds YOU" HAHAHA. This kitty keeps us laughing daily, he's a riot. Old cat is now letting him sleep closer to her but he still can't cuddle her hehe. She's never been one to cuddle much anyway. Well, gotta get going, need to try to sleep but I have a really hard time when the wind is howling. Yea, I'm in my...uh, 40's, yea, I'm old, and still afraid of super winds in the dark after all these years...Being leader of the dorks is not easy. Hello!
Got some light rains and more to come this week, I'm loving it. Dirty ice is not my favorite thing to look at. House chores just get tedious sometimes, but now that I have Loki to help, it's twice the work! He's so curious and nosy, it's hilarious the predicaments he gets into. He has to see what everyone is doing, all the time. My son says there is no privacy here anymore hehe. I don't knit or crochet but my mom, sister and my daughter sure do. My daughter made me an awesome scarf and hat set last year. I do a lot of other art work; kiln formed glass things, metal work (welding for art), sculpture out of clay or found items, lots of painting of anything, including several pieces of furniture I've redone for our house and for other people. No fancy woodworking stuff, just nifty paint overs on pieces that aren't great to begin with. I do have many antiques that have been in my family for way longer than I've been around and those were redone professionally. It helps my aunt and uncle have their own shop for that, they do great work. I'm glad I'm the favorite niece as I'd never be able to afford them! hehe. I need to get out for a walk today with my dog, we didn't go yesterday and now we're both restless and need fresh air. Then I'll be playing some more Zelda, I'm on a side quest right now and those are my favorite parts hehe. Hello!
Today we are enjoying heavy fog. Since I don't have to drive in it, I can enjoy it. Been busy with my kiln, reading a ton of books, typical chores and walking with my dog. Yup, exciting life I have! Haven't been playing any of my Zelda games lately, think I just played way too much and need a break. Though, with the weather the way it is, might have to go do some treasure hunting at least hehe.
