Otoclinus
I got 6 Otoclinus catfish 3 weeks ago. 2 died within the first week. I'm still happy because I've never had Otoclinus last longer than a week before.Come visit me, my baby & 2nd child.

Awesome tank!
Love the decorations, fish, and plants. Many many years ago I had a tank with about 500 neons, some corys and a few plecos and plants. It was super and about one of the few tanks where I was able to keep plants thriving! Visiting and leaving a vote on this beauty!Come visit me, Pond.

Riding out the Storm
"My Baby" and "2nd Child" made it through the last 24 hours when Hurricane Sandy came through. I lost power for 17 hours at my apartment 20 miles south of Baltimore. The temperature in both tanks dropped 5 degrees. Had some concerns about the Rams and Cardinal tetras since both species prefer temperatures in the low 80s.Come visit me, my baby & 2nd child.

Plant Species
I have a large thicket of Green Cobamba on the right side of the tank. I have a large Apotogyne species in the center which produced flowers over the summer. I have some bunches of Cryptocorne parva in the foreground of the tank. I have a thicket of Broadleaf ludwiga in the back left corner. There are miscellaneous swords, crypts, anubias, and java ferns in the middle of the tank.Come visit me, my baby & 2nd child.

Very cool
I read your comment about your feeding frenzy, my cardinals do not like feeding from the top of the water. It seems like they are scared to go to the top to feed. If they do, only one will go for a flake and then dart back down to the middle of the water column. Congrats on sotw!Come visit me, Who's Nemo?.

Feeding Behaviors
The fish have some interesting feeding habits. Peppered cories will eat food from the surface. The Rams and cories will eat shrimp pellets on the substrate and Neon and Cardinal tetras will follow them and eat the crumbs. All fish except the Cories and Bristlenose pleco will attack surface food in a feeding frenzy.Come visit me, my baby & 2nd child.
