Missing Otto
Good news! While doing maintenance today, I found my missing Otto. He managed to get himself stuck between some of the ceramic rocks. I'm so glad that he didn't die!

biOrb Feedback
Thank you! If I had to spend the money again, I would still buy a biOrb. The "Baby" size is not ideal for two reasons:
1. There are less options for upgrading the Baby.
2. It's only 4 gallons so it's very important to keep up with weekly water changes, especially if you have fish that are sensitive to Nitrate.

I think that I just recently lost my Otto because I skipped the water change for a couple of weekends that were very busy. They are very sensitve to Nitrate build up and can easily die in any tank that does not have the best kept water.

Thanks for the comments and votes!
Thanks everyone! Yes, this is the Baby Biorb. It's great for small spaces but I would reccomend getting a larger one if you can afford it and if you have the space. The Baby size is not as versatile because you cannot upgrade it to the Intelligent Light or use the marine conversion kit on it.

Spend the Extra Bucks on the Bubble Tube Guard
So the other day one of my White Cloud Mountain Minnows was missing and I thought it was dead. The only problem was that I couldn't find the body. The thought crossed my mind that it could have gone into the bubble tube but then I thought, "Nah." Sure enough, it had not only gone into the bubble tube but it had continued on all the way into the filter cartridge, where it would have died if I had not noticed that it was missing.

New Air Pump and a New Fish
I bought a Wisper 10 air pump to replace the one that came with the Biorb. The difference is like night and day! I should have replaced it a long time ago because it's so nice and quiet now.

I also bought an Otocinclus catfish to attack the algae that's starting to build up in the bowl. After the intial shock of moving to a new home, he/she started feasting on the algae.

Biorb info
Thanks for the comments. I like the Biorb a lot! Maintenence is pretty simple and the service kits come with everything that you need. The only drawback with the system is that the air pump that comes with it is a little noisy, especially if you have the Biorb on your nightstand, LOL! I'm going to look into getting it replaced with something quieter. The Baby size is great for small areas but you can't upgrade to the Intelligent Light unless you have a larger size. You also can't use the marine upgrade kit on the Baby size. If you have the space get a larger Biorb. I've had this for quite a while so I don't remember how much I paid for it; currently Amazon sells it for $69.99. If you had a goldfish bowl as a kid and want one again for nostalgia sake, then the Biorb is the way to go!
