Update
So it has been a while since i've been on Fish Channel due to a hand injury in Aug. But I am back to report the success of my shrimp. I had a total of 10 shrimp in August, just before my injury, and now as of today I have 30+ Shrimp. Very happy site. Cherry shrimp are a great choice, perfect for starting out with shrimp. Very forgiving compared to other shrimp. I have well over 150 cherries mixed with amano shrimp and bamboo shrimp in a 29 gallon. Less than a year ago i started with a dozen cherries so if conditions are right expect them to multiply fast. If you are in good with a local fish store the extra shrimp are a good source of store credit. good luck and here is a vote Come visit me, Green Terror, My little jungle & R.I.P. Big guy.

Shrimp Tank
I am super happy I was able to get this today. I went to the pet store to get a piece of driftwood for my Betta tank and was looking at some of the nano tanks when I saw that the Fluval Nano Shrimp Habitat was on sale so I bought it. I have been planning out a shrimp tank for a while, but didn't see any tanks that I liked that were on sale until today. It is all set up, just waiting for some plants and hiding places for the shrimp an for the cycling to be done. I was thinking about Neocaridina spp, anyone have a favorite?Come visit me, BettaKeeper, PlatyKeeper & ShrimpKeeper.
