finally stabilized
acclimation and stress killed most of my first batch of fish like a couple of plates and guppies , its a learning experience just starting out i lost so many fish i almost through in the towel but i got to much invested to stop , so i researched and saved a few turned my bio filter on instead of relying on my plants to do the filtration . the end result was i put a clown loch to end over snail population my Cory cats made it and i add some plates with 2 pregnant so on with the learning

That sure seems like a lot of work, however if you are able to do it and enjoy it in the process go for it. Left a vote...

Yep, Barnacle Bob is right. A co2 setup is your best option for a robust planted tank! Don't know much about it, but research is fun right, haha. Here's a Vote.

new to this
this is my new experience my goal is to have the plants do all the filtration above is breeder tanks set up with a little sand and sponge filters everything you see is my creation , the tank i completely resealed by cutting old silicone out and redoing it , painted the stand , built the shelf and reinforced brackets to hold water weight of breeder tanks , and for those who cant see clear the white square to the left upper hand of tank is a ph chart . all the plants were small or unhealthy plants bought real cheap so any ideas or helpful hints in how to maintain will be appreciated thanks for viewing
