Yeah! It's Saturday ! Wow, what I night I had last night. I got a call from someone I know, they had a mama and a litter of kittens under her deck. Guess who had to rescue them? What a job. I've never done that before. There are 3 kittens, two weren't to bad to catch, but one had to give me a hard time. When I finally grabbed it, it freaked out which pissed off mama...not good! Luckily mama is very sweet and once she calmed down, I was able to get her. They are off to foster care today. Today, I've got to go to a grad party, then go to my brothers this afternoon and tomorrow morning to feed their cats. I don't mind, but it's 30 plus miles away. So, not much rest for me! Speaking of, are you resting your arm still? How's the pooch? Yeah, I wish I could loose weight too! But not from being sick. Well, I suppose I should start my day. HI today started out raw and chilly in the upper 50's i even had my light winter coat on then it rained on and off..now the sun came out and it's up to 66° ...now that i'm in for the night... after lunch i went to BJ's and as usual spent too much money.. when i got home i switched litter boxes and put the LitterMaid in the computer room and the regular box in the junk room which sherm has his VA monitoring machine in so now he has more room since they added a scale...now i'm beat... hope you had a nice day...leaving a vote, peace, luv ...sally Come visit me, finnie friends.....	05/15/2013 02:46.20 PM	Report This Comment

Hi How did your pups appointment go? Have you been trying to take it easy so you heal? I'm betting not, you sound like a person who doesn't like to stay still for long! Not happy, I have to go to Walmart tomorrow to make sure the mothers day cards are in order. Then Monday, take them all down and put up fathers day and grad cards. Oh well, I'll take the hours while I can. After that, the hours get knocked down big time for the summer. We had a lot of rain this week and warm weather, but it's supposed to cool down again. That's fine with me, hot weather and hot flashes don't go well togeather! Lol! Hope you have a nice mothers day, any plans? We'er going to try lunch before my son goes to work. Hello!! I'm totally against going outside without clothes! You'd NEVER see me do that. I hate mini skirts and shorts, capris are good. And for swimming as well, I have a bathing suit, yoga pants, and a wraparound skirt. I'd like to keep myself to myself, not myself to everyone around. Bubble has dropsy I believe(yes again...) but he hasn't started popping his scales yet. So, today hopefully we will get some more meds. He did swim a bit for Mom, bloated and sick as he was, he blew Mom a couple bubbles. See you! Got a BUSY day ahead! Good morning 22 pounds! That's a lot for a dog to lose, how much did she weigh to begin with? How's the arm doing? I think my mussels are back to normal after last week end. Took days! Been crazy lately with kitten rescue calls this week. It's that time of year. One little one passed away yesterday. Was found in the streets of Hartford and some jerk put the litter up on Craig's list. They are so young. People can be such a-holes. Weather has been unbelievable here. Perfect! So sore It took me 2 hours to haul all the stuff out of my living room yesterday. But it was worth it. We raised almost $800 for the shelter! This morning, I'm off to the flea market then relax for the rest of the day. Sounds like you need a day for yourself. I know what you mean, we all need some "me" time! How's your dog doing? No sleeping in for you. I can never sleep in anyway, cats start bugging me around 5 each morning. I think we have the weather you want. Hello Sorry to hear about your pup. That's the bad part of pet ownership. They can get wicked expensive! I'm hoping to make some money at the yard sale so I can pay down my credit card from vet bills. Any improvement on your arm? I may be joining you after the sale. I got all my stuff, plus shelter stuff to haul outside. I keep getting more donated items for the shelter sale, and I have run out of room! More stuff to show up today and tomorrow. I guess we will have to sit on boxes to eat our dinner tonight! He he Finally feeling like spring around here. Hello Again! Funny you mention your issues with your glo fish, because I've had some of the same problems too- I used to keep the zebra danio glo fish awhile back and they always ended up showing deformities after awhile or getting bent or curved backs (which is either a deformity or a lack of vitamin C, it depends). I did end up with a lucky break with the glo tetras though- they had just been introduced to the hobby, and the pet store didn't know the price, so I ended up getting them for only 2 or 3 dollars, compared to the standard $8 for them nowadays, hehe. Movies! Whew, that Virus was bad! I was infected for like a year! Yeah, the V was gone by V-D, haha. Anyway new pics are up, I'm totally stoked about my planted tank, the new 75 gal. Good lighting, pressurized CO2 , ADA soil with daily Excel dosing, weekly water changes, and this thing has taken off! Check out my new pics at the bottom of the page. The new planted tank is not even a month old and most of the plants were a couple of inches high when I planted them. I have already trimmed the stemmed plants once! Growth is kinda scaring me. Like I'm goin' to wake up one day and there's going to be runners spreading in my room like Jumanji! Whoa!! Also, the driftwood in the new planted is tripped out... When I saw it, it reminded me of that Donnie Darko movie with that big ole, weird scary rabbit! I had to have it, I took a pic in the garage before I put it in. Hey! New Years Eve was quiet, haven't done much going out and partying on that night in a v-e-r-r-y long time. It's just too much hassle, with the cops looking for the drunks, and the drunks not looking out for the cops, or anyone else, for that matter! We've gone out and had a good meal from time to time over the years but, try to get home at a reasonable time to avoid all the crap. then again, the wife says I've spoiled her over the years by cooking so well, that when we do go out, we tend to find fault with the meals; not always (mind you) we have found a few places that we like to return to because we get good food there. Lots of stuff happening around here in a short amount of time. I lost about a dozen friends, family & acquaintances, (including my dad in Nove.) - all within the last 7-8 months. We have a male min-pin (miniature pincher) that we rescued at 9 months old (he's now 11). He's been gradually losing his eyesight. His left eye actually ended up with a detached retina and glocoma. The pressure built up from a normal of less than 3 to greater than 40; and the vet opthomologist said that basically he was living with a constant migrain headache, and the best thing for him was to remove the eye…which we had him do, and the little guy has been doing much better since. The compounding factor is the the other eye has a caterac and he is down to about 20% vision out of that eye. About a year & a half ago we rescued a female corgi mix that was found roaming the streets of Gainsville, GA. So, my wife named her (Georgia) only it’s spelled Jorga. We think she was abused by a male because she doesn’t want any part of me (yet); and we’ve been working on it s-l-o-w-l-y to allow her to work out her problems and fears. We just bought a “new to us” used car. The wife was driving a 2007 honda Accord (bought new) & it has 91k + miles on it. We took it to the shop the other day to get the brakes checked and repaired, along with other service. While she was filling out the paperwork, I was looking around the lot and found a 2011 Honda CRV with a little better than 10k on it. She drove it home tonight. The acupuncture treatments are woeking well for the both of us. My pain and discomfort are going away…her aches & pains are going away, also and both of us are losing weight (rapidly!) Me around 20 lbs …her over 40lbs and she’s looking great; not to mention feeling great in my arms! The fins are all doing well and appear to be happy to have the extra room to swim around in. I like the extra room for decorating the tank…however, it seems to get dirty faster than the smaller tank did and it takes that much longer to clean it when it is dirty. I feel like I’m constantly cleaning the growth that appears on the front and sides of the tank but, it is worth it. I know the fish have got to like the extra room, and the stand and hood make a great piece of furniture.
