I don't collect them my self. But I have friends that do, they give me them. I haven't had my madtoms fight in groups, (but make sure that every one has their own cave/ hiding place) Keeping one is just fine also. they like fast flowing cold water. they seem to be fine living with giant danios. but do not keep them with small slow fish! guppies will just vanish. further more. NEVER try and pick them up with your hands, they have a lot of poison in their spines.Come visit me, MeLovesCoryCats, CherryShrimpMaster:), Goldfish keeper & Swordtail keeper.

hi They've had the "adult" color pretty much since birth; but that's because both "parents" were Red Wags. I can't really say who the "daddy" because there was more tham one male; but there were only Red Wags in the tank.Come visit me, RickFern & RickFern 2.

Hi, thank you for visiting and the vote! Yes, I love the smallest of cories. I only had 3 and they only came out in the evening. Ever since I added 5 more they now cruise all over and are so fun to watch :) I like your aquarium setups. Very artistic. For some reason I have never had luck with pleco catfish like the bristlenose other then oto cats... Here is a Vote for all 3 of your setups.Come visit me, Chocolate Delight, Dwarf Rasbora Delight & Angelfish Surprise.

Hi I know what you mean. After the FRY FRY FRY were born on 11/2/10 I moved their Mama back into my 29g tropical tank. That’s why they were able to grow out without becoming live fish food. I had hoped to move some of them there as well; but I won’t be able to. Since going back into the 29g, Mama again dropped fry there about five weeks ago. I have no idea how many babies she had. But at least seven of them managed to survive; and they are now too big to eat. So, I had to change my plans. I used some of the FRY FRY FRY to setup a tank for my father-in-law, George (Papa, accent on the first syllable). It’s called “Papa’s Fun Tank” profile number 202151. (in fact, he was your first vote here, before his setup was posted.) He would love for you to visit him. (If you do, I’ll have to read your comments for him because his eyesight is not good enough any more for him to read the print size here.) Left a vote for you. Ricky.Come visit me, RickFern & RickFern 2.

dead female platy The mother of the fry in the tank just died the other day. No symptoms other than she was hiding a lot at the bottom of the tank and stopped eating the day she died. I believe the stress of the birth and the males (both the platy and the two guppies) chasing her like crazy after she gave birth was just too much for her. At least her fry are doing well.Come visit me, Baby tank, Atlantis, RIP Artic & Hogwarts.
