I'm not sure if you're joking or not, because one piranha would need at the very least, thirty gallons, and even that would probably not be enough. If you really have this, I suggest you get a much bigger tank.

Come visit me, Bichir.

Love your setup (just get a bigger tank); left a vote. I've posted a profile of my Red Wag Platy fry born on last Election Day (11/2/10) at http://www.fishchannel. com/blog/ViewBio.aspx?apid=197571 (RickFern 2)

it is really sad to see that you have a piranha in a 12 gallon tank. its disgusting to know that a place would actually sell that fish for that size aquarium. your fish will grow larger than the tank it is in eventually but i highly doubt it will live that long. please do some research next time you get fish. i left a vote regardless, but im saddened to see what people do to the fish we call our "friends"

Come visit me, Planted Pico Aquarium & 55 Patch Reef.
