Mandarin Fosters and smith state that 30 gal tank is fine. I have lots of pods and black worms. But in smaller tanks they might even eat frozen food i'm told. It's been eating for a week now so i think i'm in the clear.Come visit me, Bio Qube & Wiseone.

the mandarin fish probably won't live very long. they need a large tank to forage for microscopic food and they need a really mature tank but i'm not sure if yours is. Come visit me, Work in Progress, Pond Fish, Clownfish & Pond Fish 2.

Nice looking tank. Just a piece of advice, the mandarin fish cannot survive in such a small tank, it will starve to death. The minimum size tank is 100 gallon tank. I wish you the best of luck. Come visit me, Saltwater.
