too busy for FC
I understand, you're young and busy... How'd I do for guilt there? Hey lil missy, how goes life in general? been super busy around here and all of it good so no complaints on this end of the world. Getting ready to play in my ceramic class in a few minutes. I mean, go learn really important stuff in class so I can save the world! Fishes are fine, was telling other lil miss that I think I want to get some more frogs. We'll see if I actually will go spend money though hehe. hectic life
sorry it's been so long, I have a house full of company and didn't even realize I missed FC for 2 days! Not sure that's happened while I was home, ever, in all the years of being on site. UGF. I really like them. If you do your water changes with a gravel vacuum, then you already know how to clean a UGF, it's the same procedure. The only thing is to remember to change out airstones once in awhile. Most things tell you to do it every month, I've never had to but will inspect them when I clean the tank to see if they are slimy or wearing out. Usually they last several months. Great for adding oxy to the tank, and helps keep that film that can appear on the waters' surface. Have always used one, even when I had a salt tank and that tank was up for many years, until I had to move and tore it down. They aren't fancy, but quite easy to use and well, I've always had one so guess I'm rather partial to them. How goes life for you? I'm looking forward to Sunday when all company will be gone, and I will only have a quick trip to the hardware store to do and then will hibernate the rest of that day hehe.Come visit me, SpazSewer, SpazBees, Gobi-Wan Kenobi & K-Spaz.

long time no Sneeze
Didn't realize how long it had been since I hit this tank, hmmm. Time flies. How was your first week of school? I start Saturday (almost like being in trouble, having to go to school on Saturday hehe) and am SO VERY EXCITED. WooHoo, Ceramics all day for the next 4 mos! WHEEE! It's good to not have to take Algebra ever again, I have to admit hehe. Been geeking on my sci-fi stuff and not really much else to tell. Looks like the dozen (give or take) molly babies may have been culled, I only counted maybe 5 yesterday, but won't know until I look again after feeding time today. They might have been hiding. So, did I ever tell you my stepsons gf's name is May? Well, her nickname anyway. She is a super great person, if they ever break up we're keeping her haha. Anyway, glad to hear all is going well in your fishy worlds. My fins are happy, did filter changes the other day (ooops, were they nasty) and did water changes today, every one looks so colorful and happy. We've been keeping busy with some spring madness, lots of cleaning, painting, fun projects along with chores so there's been a nice balance. I finally got the dining room paint done. For the first time in 5 mos there is no blue painters tape! YAY! Thanks for your applause! I didn't think I was ever to do enough to get the awards. It did it after about 30 quizzes. I have completed all the quizzes and have even redone many of them but my status in "my account" doesn't count redoing them. Still says 35 taken. Do you know how the top scorers are getting so many questions? They have hundreds of questions - I couldn't get more than 180 no matter how many times I retook the quizzes. Leaving you a vote. Here I am
I've heard nothing but rave reviews about Avatar. I've never seen a 3D movie other than the DVD's that come with the stupid paper glasses that never seem to make any difference. I always put them on, take them off and repeat the process and say I see no difference! and keep them off. Did I tell you that I got two new fish? I got a scooter blenny who is camoflaged to look just like the rocks. He's very cute and does a hypnotic gliding motion. He has pectoral fins that sort of look like little flippers and it looks like he can walk with them. The other fish is a six line wrasse who has shades of purple, orange and green. Morgan has been having difficulty breathing again and we've had to resume taking her to the vet every other week which is a huge financial drain. It seems to be when the house gets closed up for the winter with no fresh air coming in the windows. She's on three medications which are a battle to get into her. Sigh, I was so hoping we had seen the last of this problem. When you're rich and famous remember us and set up a trust fund for the birdie, lol. Speaking of birdies, when are you getting yours? I though you had gotten your parents all primed and ready. They still need alittle softening up on the subject? A little conure would be so perfect for you. Bella is becoming very chatty now that she's reached a year old. In true african grey style she mimics most everything she hears. She has mastered sounding just like the other birds and can pretty much say all the words they say. It must be very noisy with all of them talking back and forth when we aren't home. Bet it would make a burglar think twice, haha! Well chickie as I said, I may get lost in facebook, playing too many stupid games ( I feel guilty if I don't tent my pets, farms, fish tanks etc! Too much virtual work to do!!) but I won't forget you. I'll always be back.Come visit me, Lizzy Limpet.

well, how are the fry doing? What else have you been doing? I'm having a great weekend, my sis and her son are here (my nephew is my buddy for sure!) and we are having soooo much fun pigging out on her chicken tacos, getting decor things done around the house (it's really coming along nicely), enjoying the RAIN and having fun with pets. Guess I should get morning things done around here before everyone else wakes up. Need to clean spazbees today, poor tank has been neglected as I couldn't find my open box of salt mix. PANIC! Happy New Year. I've been to the Shed Aquarium quite a few times also. It's a great aquarium. I used to live in Rockford, IL so it wasn't too far to drive to take in all the cool stuff Chicago has to offer.
