Updated
I have updated all photos to show the tank after 14 months and an upgrade to a 75g tank. Most of the corals are about 2 months in the tank.

Also note the Goniopora coral in the lower right side of the tank. Thought it was something else initially. Will maintain as long as possible since not expected to thrive in a home aquarium for more than a year. Hopefully it will be an exception to the rule. So far it appears to be adjusting well.

Come visit me, K3JAE.

Biggest Problem
My biggest problem? I would have to say it was getting over the fear of starting. Close second to that was finding a reputable dealer to work with. The closest saltwater dealer is about 45 miles from me so making the commitment to travel there, get advice and purchasing items needed,

I am slowly doing things and reading a ton. So far I have had no problems worthy of mentioning. If you have been doing fresh is not that great a leap. Water quality is watched more closely and a bit more dilligence and patience is needed. the biggest difference by far is the cost.

Tank setup
I have had this tank active as a marine tank for about 60 days now. Everyday I find something new and exciting. I just added a few pics to show some progress. LR and other corals will be added over time. The exciting thing is my "rubble" rock has given the tank the inverts and what appears in the early stage of mushrooms and a black spaghetti worm. The larger pieces have done nothing yet (that I can see) except grow macro algae and the infamious Aptasia which will be handled soon by the addition of a peppermint shrimp.

I have additional pictures but they, for some reason are not showing at the moment.

Come visit me, K3JAE.
