Hey Firefish,
First off, thanks so much for visiting my webpage. It means a lot. It's not that hard to clean considering I don't have that much of a bioload and most of my fish are small. Though there is a collection of debris where the water can't circulate through. The plant's dont get in the way, but they do actually need some of the debris to use as nutrients. I have tons of rocks in there so I just vaccum where ever I can. If your gonna have a heavily planted tank, I recommend getting a powerhead.Come visit me, Peacock Gudgeon Tank & 38G Planted Tank.

Awesome Planted Tank
This tank is awesome. I love how natural it looks. I am trying to get my 20 gallon high to look like this. Is it hard to clean? Do the plants get in the way during cleaning? Do the plants help out with the cleaning and the disposal of the waste materials in the tank? Anyway, here is a vote for you and your awesome planted setup.
