Hi
I thought it was one inch per gallon. I was not aware 1 goldfish to 10 gals. I will have to fix that up. I have a good filter so it keeps the water clear. I got the plecos from a friend and he called them vampire plecos, not sure if they are common. Thanks for the info. Have a great dayCome visit me, oceanview & Oceanview2.

Nice tank...but is it just me, or is the water green looking, or is it just the light bouncing off the plants to the camera to make it all look green? :P lol. I've always wondered how to have a live planted tank and not have the water turn green.Come visit me, NanoReef.

thanks for asking, my sword plants are doing GREAT! I keep a 60 watt light bulb on them for 12 hours a day, they are healthy, growing and spreading out a bit, my faves are the ones in the middle, my corys dont mess with them and love the hideing places that can hold them all and the gentle cover they give them, we have 3 tanks and i in my experience florescent lights mess with them, they like light that is warm and goes off at night... they dont do so well in my other tanks, they dont die but they dont flourish either... also i think it really depends on the fishCome visit me, Kuhli Loach/ Tetra Tank & Tropical Community Tank.

Thanks for the vote, here's one for you.
You don't have to worry about my Clown Loaches. The 20 long is just their temporary home. I have read that they can reach up to 12-14", so they have a 135g Granite finish Oceanic lushly planted and waiting for them. (see BorneoBabe Borneo stream) These little guys (Stan & Ollie) are keeping the Betta rajas (Kane, Ian, & Flora)company until I get some Shelford's Loaches to take their place. I have read that Shelford's Loaches are found in the same cool mountain streams in Sumatra as the Betta rajas. By the way, all four of my tanks are in my bedroom (yes, I did have to re-inforce the floor!) the shipping on live aquaria isn't horribly expensive.. the base rate is $14 but if you're ordering a good amount of plants it doesn't change Come visit me, Cichlid Cube.

yea i got mine from petsmart too.. i think im just going to get my plants from live aquaria. they never sell any terrarium plants as aquatic.. Come visit me, Cichlid Cube.
