One of my Dojo loaches died a bit ago "he was like 7 yrs old!". I got a new fish to replace him, it's called a dinosaur fish. I got a picture of him on my tank page, check him out!Come visit me, Jason's fish tank.

What a beautiful and comforting blog. Believe me, with the things I have been through in life (the divorce, seriously fearing I would be one of the estranged wives you read about in the paper when a husband takes her life and his), I mean I went through the beating on the door at eleven at night and so scared I didn't know what to do). My faith has carried me through so very much. This time, like the last I have asked why me? What have I done? Well when I was going through the divorce and the ex threatening me and the children, I was becoming a catholic school principal. I had gone to a training for beginning principales right when we split. Right before the lunch break, I had a nun come to me and she told me that my boss had told her that I was going through a difficult time and that she wanted me to know she was going to the church to pray for me on her lunch break. She was so comforting to me. I said Sister, forgive me but right now I am questioning whether or not there is a God. HOw could God put a person like me through this, what have I done? She grabbed my hand looked me in the eyes and said "Did you ever stop to think he didn't do this to you, he did it for you?" Well back then I could not see the forest for the trees and did not realize how abused I was. I am so grateful that I divorced that man, so happy with the husband I have today. Well my daughter came hoem today, and she did have quite a chip on her shoulder. My other daughter says she is going to grandma's tomorrow because she can't stand being here with her sister. It breaks my heart to see the tension between the two of them, but the poor eleven year old will never forget finding mommmy on the floor of the laundry room passed out, thinking I was dead. She will hold that against her sister for a long time. I am so mad, so so angry that my kids are being put through this. I did have the chance today, to really let her know that I could have won that case that day, I really could have, but I would have had to let my lawyer tear her apart and destroy her to discredit her with that judge, and I couldn't do it. I just couldn't do it. It hurts me to think that strong young woman that I raised has flipped like her father, but she will have to live her life this way for a while, and see what happens. She has already lost a guy that she was very interested in because she had lied to the judge about him, and I had to ask him while we were at the court house if it was true they hadn't gone on a date and were just friends, and that was all she wanted from him. He is so hurt he really let her have it, of course that's my fault right now, but she will have to see that when you treat people wrong, you pay for that. Then we will see, does she continue on the path her father and step-mother are laying, or does she pick up turn around and head back down the path mom was taking her on. I just read that Dottie died, I'm so so sorry! Try a high fin spotted pleco, they are prettier than the regular ones, but hardier than the gold nuggets and stuff like that. Also, make sure you are getting them enough algea wafers, shrimp pellets, frozen beef heart is good too. Anyway, just some suggestions. Pleco
I know what you mean. The one pic I added to my site shows him at twice the size as when I bought him. I was in the pet store the other day and saw one about 3x his current size. So I am definitely considering a large tank down the road. But they don't grow that fast so I think your ok for now LOL!Come visit me, AnimalNut.

Nice set up. I was looking at the pleco's again today and saw the one you have in the above picture. I also saw one that was black and white spotted but they wanted $100.00 for it LOL. Not worth it at this point. Regrettably, since the picture was taken and placed on my page, my tank came down with Ich so my set up is now a hospital tank. *sigh* Oh well got about a month to ensure its all gone before I start my transfers LOL! My husband's nephew has joined the navy seals and we are going to his going away party today. Its about 2 hours away and in my condition I don't feel like going, but i need to. I am going to hopefully get to stop by my favorite store though! Its all saltwater, and they have these bargin tank where frags are 5 and 10 bucks. I pride myself out growing those ones out!!! So glad to hear that your angel survived it's journey. I bet it was sure surprised when it got sucked up. Good luck with that kuhli, they are crafty little things that like to squeeze through anything. I have watched mine try to come out from under something sideways through the rocks instead of just swimming out the opening half an inch from their heads. Glad you had fun on your camping trip, it's nice to get away once and awhile. I wish I had a larger tank like yours so that I could have a pleco, but they can get so huge. I saw some at a local petshop a couple months ago that had to be at least 18 inches long. They take them from people whose tanks they have outgrown. I did have a little one that they said would only grow to about 4 inches but he died about a month after I bought him. Maybe he didn't like the type of algae that's in my tank and he starved, all he ever did was stay suctioned to the side of tank in one place all day. How do you keep your tank so clean from algae? Every week I have to clean the inside glass (it gets fine little green hairs) and monthly I have to prune back leaves and scrub all my decorations because it's so thick. I even keep the blinds drawn so it's not as bright in the living room. Anyway, leaving you a vote and keep on loach lookout. KuhliCome visit me, Kuhli.
