Yup-yup Tomorrow is the official end of summer vacation. I've got Mom's taxi service running full time...taking both my kids to and from. It's not a long drive for me, and sometimes other kids ask if they can bum rides from me.

A Vote & A Note!
Free stuff is always the best! I'm here in California, and there are 3 aqua-hobby stores I visit regularly because each one is better than the other for specific supplies I'm on the hunt for. And they are all out town for me. But I always enjoy the drive. The farthest one is a 30 minute drive...so It's still not too bad when bringing fish home to acclimate. I'm going to go camping again later this month...to Malibu CA. That would be sooo funny if I saw any Hollywood people when I make my grocery run in Malibu. If I do...I will tell you (& and your sis & mom).

You and your mom sound like
my son and I. We do the same thing. If it isn't one of us buying a fish, or taking care of a cat in need of some TLC, then it is the other. Hi, I had to
stop by to say hi and leave a vote. How are the guppies doing? We got a feeder guppy fry that hitchhiked with a blk. skirt tetra. I didn't have the heart to put her in the 55 gal. to be eaten by the angels or other tetras. She is growing and getting stronger everyday. The corys have been spawning but the other fish eat their eggs before we can save them. Take care and have a great weekend.Come visit me, Temple of Doom.

Thank you soooo much for your votes to help me win this week! It is such an awesome feeling to see my tank on the front page before I sign in. It's like....WOW!
So I told your mom that my little pleco came out twice...gettng comfy in his/her new surroundings and establishing territory...(I guess). My son was able to take a picture, but I'm hoping to get a better one tomorrow and post it while i'm SOTW. I named it "Dottie"...so of course it's most likely a boy. If I named it "Spot" It would be a girl. You know what i'm sayin? Oh well..no matter what....it's the cutest little pleco ever. Thank yo again! Gold Nugget Pleco
..yup I bought a Gold Nugget Pleco today. He's classified as 'fancy' Your mom is right. They're expensive little buggers! Anyways, I reeeeally hope I will be able to take a picture of him within a week. He has alot of driftwood to hide in.

I know it has been a few days. Everything's OK, just pretty busy. You know how it gets. We got a couple of new fish to go in the tank. A long skirt tetra, and a balloon molly. They are already schooling with the other fish. We have had some pretty good afternoon t-storms here, and are now in hurricane season. I hope we don't get any strong storms this year. Your mom has been giving me great advice on taking tare of the entire community of fish. I'm going to buy some live food (brine shrimp). Did you see the pics of my cute little panda looking catfish?
